  I bought an Asus GeForce GTX1060 6GB along with a few other products - PSU, CPU cooler etc - at the end of December 2017. Shortly after installing everything the system started having problems and was rebooting when playing particular games. Unfortunately I required my PC for work purposes and had therefore neglected to address this issue until now - late June 2018. 
  
  
  
  
  I brought my system into Umart Eight Mile Plains branch for them to run diagnostics and turns out the graphics card was faulty. You would think that they would at the very least have the courtesy of informing me of the problem however this was not the case. I had the inconvenience of going back into the store to find out that - without my consent - they had apparently sent my graphics card off and are wanting to charge me $80 for diagnostics. This alone is already suspicious - the fact that they take your computer parts without agreement so that you are forced into paying a diagnostic fee of $80. To top things off the service rep was rude and unhelpful and places the blame on the customer for a faulty product. I am now $80 poorer and missing a $500 graphics card.
  
  
  
  
  Personally this looks to me like a profitable scam - sell faulty product, have customer return for diagnostic service, potentially withhold customer's $500 graphics card if they refuse to pay $80, return "fixed" product.

  Quick, no nonsense service. The only weird/out of the ordinary part is having to log in/sign up on the computers even to buy things in store. So, it's not a standard retail situation like other PC stores if that's what you are expecting. Could be quicker to just be able to tell the guy at the desk what you want and have them ring it up for you. Although, having an online account is nice to keep record of all your previous purchases (this system has its own merits for continuous customers), I could see it being a bit of a hassle to go through the sign up process for a one time purchase of something small. Either way, I recommend ordering items online before coming into the store, then bringing in your order number (unless of course you know your sign in details off the top of your head). Much quicker that way. Prices are also very competitive.
